How's the Traffic on Your Web Site?

The chances that a web surfer will just happen upon your business web site may not be as good as you think.

Popular search engines typically find only a fraction of what's available on a particular topic.  And different engines turn up different information in response to the same query.  To get yourself seen, you need to do whatever you can to make your site accessible.

A few suggestions:

  • Snag as many visitors as you can by advertising your web address.   A person who knows where to find you on the web won't need to surf at all.
  • Register your web address with the search engines that people in your target market are most likely to use.
  • Design your site, especially your home page, with care.  Be mindful of key words and loading speed.
