Messages from Sarah...

Brian Michael Shamel

Together...Forever

As the years go on,
Your days will seem brighter,
And your burdens will probably
Seem much lighter.

It is very, very difficult to part,
With someone
Who is so close to your heart.

As you remember the good times,
When he was born,
Your heart will be sad,
But try not to mourn.

Remember a memory
Of some word or deed,
It will give you strength and courage
When you are in need.

Whenever you are troubled
Put your problems in God's hand.
He is here to help you;
He will understand.

Family and friends
Will always care.
We are always around
And will always be there.

You've probably asked, Why him?
Why did he have to die?
God had a reason,
And now all we can do is cry.

Never, ever forget
The cherished, shared love,
As Brian watches
From above.

And always remember,
You'll always be together,
in eternity...forever.

With love,
Sarah

One Long Year

It's been one long year
Since you've gone above,
But still, we have shown
No greater love.

Sometimes you wonder
How to endure.
Always remember
With God he is secure.

You raised him as a Christian;
You raised him well.
It's the best gift you gave him;
Something you cannot sell.

Because of you,
He believed.
Because of you,
Eternal life he received.

He's in Heaven,
A place of no pain;
Really our loss of love
Is actually his gain.

Heaven is
The most wonderful place,
Full of God's love
And grace.

Live as Brian
Would want you to live.
Give, as Brian
Was always happy to give.

Things sometimes happen
That we just don't understand.
But just remember
Brian is happily snuggled in God's hand.

What would he say?
"You'll see me soon, Mother, why do you cry?
"Lift your spirits!
"I know it's hard, but for me please try."

His most prized possession
Was his beloved red Jeep.
It was in it that he'd take
His long, deep sleep.

That is all it is, a long deep sleep,
Until we're all together...
One day we'll all be in eternity
With Brian...forever.

Stay Strong,
Sarah
